Twitter launched this weekend a new toolkit for web application developers called Bootstrap, so it has been announced in the official Twitter developers blog. With about 750,000 developers worldwide and increasing popularity, Twitter has all the right reasons to help the developers help the company…

The new toolkit designed to assist web developers to develop applications for Twitter faster and easier. This is actually a collection of HTML and CSS files and codes of the familiar Twitter interface parts like buttons and forms, that supports the latest browsers of Chrome, Safari and Firefox. It still doesn’t support the latest versions of Internet Explorer but the company is working on that.

Apparently, the Bootstrap toolkit is very easy to implement (drop the code and go) and it contains a pure CSS code, clean from redundant elements like Flash or JavaScript. Also, the company wants to make Bootstrap better and it is looking for developers feedback, so it is probably just the first (official) version of it.
